Using Time-Lapse Resistivity Imaging Methods to Quantitatively Evaluate the Potential of Groundwater Reservoirs

In this study, we attempt to establish an alternative method for estimating the groundwater levels and specific yields of unconfined aquifer evaluation potential reservoirs. We first converted inverted resistivity into normalized water content. Then, parameters Brooks-Corey model from vertical profiles content by assuming that suction head was in proportion elevation regarding a predefined base level. Lastly, estimated level, theoretical yield, yield capacity at every survey site study area. The contour maps time-lapse show flows downstream, with higher hydraulic gradient near river channel than area away main channel. conclude maximum capacities are consistent derived pumping tests nearby observation well.
